Experience a comprehensive weather service with KFDM Chief Meteorologist Greg Bostwick using WeatherNET. WeatherNET delivers precise weather data including current temperature and other essential conditions right at your fingertips. Stay informed and plan your schedule effectively with the highly accurate weather information conveniently available on your mobile device.
The KFDM WeatherNET stations are equipped to provide a detailed weather overview, measuring factors such as temperature, humidity, dew point, wind speed and direction, wind chill, heat index, rainfall rate, and barometric pressure. Keep track of real-time weather updates as the LIVE data seamlessly streams from the KFDM WeatherNET network to your smartphone.
This app features an array of weather stations strategically placed across Southeast Texas, the Gulf of Mexico, and Lake Sam Rayburn.
<ul>
<li>To access "WIND CHILL" and "HEAT INDEX" values, simply tap on the "TEMPERATURE" indicator.</li>
<li>To access dew point values, tap on "HUMIDITY".</li>
<li>To view wind data including one-minute average gusts and highest gusts since midnight, tap once and then twice on "WIND".</li>
<li>For rainfall rate information, touch once on "RAIN".</li>
<li>To check the barometric pressure change since midnight, tap on "PRESSURE".</li>
</ul>
NEW FEATURE: Explore an interactive MAP showcasing all WeatherNET sites by long-touching the KFDM WeatherNET caption at the top.
